Android 5.0.1 Noob questions

Got sick of the iPhone, bought a Moto G (2g) its been good got some questions however:

Im currently using music folder player full and I can't figure out how to create playlists with it? Can someone reccomend a player that uses folders but also playlists? (Money is not an issue, also lock screen compatibility please)

I googled how to disable google now and all it's BS proccesses that I don't need and I can't figure out how to disable proccesses like:

Every single Google play service (Gcmservice, corestats, locationservices, dont need any of it) I know you have to disable it in the apps menu but it still works for some reason.

Motocare: Unless its essential I don't need it at all,

Google search,: Never use it

[iMPORTANT] Google now - very annoying when I accidently swipe upwards and it opens. Also it's listening to me all the time when on lock screen which I've never used never will.

MotorolaOTA/cloudconnect/management: Never use it

How can I disable all these for good, so that they never start on boot or interfere unless I make it? I've tried what I can.

Theres a bunch of other useless proccesses but like I said IDK how to make them fuck off for good.

Not a problem but a question: Do android phones tend to use different audio chips to apple? whenever im listening to music i notice its quiter then apple, just wish it could go 1 or 2 notches higher.

I can't think of anything else at the moment but if so i'll add a reply, thanks

You can fix all of these problems (Except for finding a better music player) by installing a custom ROM on your phone (I use The Titan Prime ROM on my Moto G 2G) and installing PA Pico GApps which only comes with the totally essential Google Services :) If that sounded confusing and you need help you can send me a PM :P

My Current Build:

Intel i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.11V, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, Asrock Z77 Extreme4, Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, Asus GTX 760 DCII Overclocked, Corsair CX600M

Apple phones have always been able to make your child deaf in a matter of 2 weeks, so most other phones have normal volume levels.

Try using headphones that are in ears that fit like these. They seal off your ears so you dont have to listen to things as loud.

Installing a ROM is the hard/easy route. I say this because its fairly simple if you follow the instructions exactly as they say, and easily removes the things you've mentioned(for the most part)

I personally use google play music for all my music listening needs, and its fantastic.

thanks!

Heyyo,

Got sick of the iPhone, bought a Moto G (2g)

I know what ya mean. iOS updates ruin their phones performance... ruined my iPhone 4s... made it slower than my 3Gs and I was a victim of WiFried...

Im currently using music folder player full and I can't figure out how to create playlists with it? Can someone reccomend a player that uses folders but also playlists? (Money is not an issue, also lock screen compatibility please)

Android Authority has damn good lists for its "Top 10" apps for music, texting and such. I love Android Authority because their reviews tend to be spot on most of the time. :)

Here's their list for SMS apps too, I recommend checking this out as well:

For disabling Google Now gesture? It's usually somewhere in your menu settings for buttons or gestures. I know it was on my HTC One. On my OnePlus One? It's under the buttons settings menu.

As for uninstalling or nuking other processes? Lots of manufacturers won't let you uninstall them the normal way... but you can hide them from your app lists sometimes. My HTC One let me hide them but not uninstall, but my OnePlus One doesn't come with any since it uses a custom ROM that doesn't have any.. so custom ROM might be the best way to go about it. CyanogenMod is quite a popular one... but I dislike their backstabbing business practices so I'd recommend Exodus ROM or OmniROM if they support your device. :)

It depends on the phone model tbh. HTC One series? Their boomsound speakers are the BEST speakers on any smartphone but they still aren't the loudest.

My OnePlus One has decent speakers that get pretty darn loud but don't have the greatest clarity...

Motorolla tend to use stereo front speakers line the HTC One but they aren't as big of drivers so they don't get quite as loud or as clear. You can always opt to install a custom ROM and use Viper Audio to boost your volume but you do start to run the risk of damaging the speakers by going above manufacturer volume limits so be careful.

Heyyo,
