So what do you guys think I should get for connecting my computer to my tv. I currently have R9 280 that only allows 2 on dvi/HDMI screens at once without an active mini display port to HDMI converter(one way) or My main monitor(currently DVI) will be switched to HDMI and connected to the splitter that's going to my monitor and TV. I browse on my tv my main monitor should be turned off so I thought I would be able to easily switch between the two or would my card not allow a setup like that? Sorry for the bad format I'm on mobile and in a hurry.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

I do not believe that the 3 GB R9 280 will be able to handle all of that, at least not while gaming.

I don't plan on gaming on them, so I was thinking of getting a switcher for my main 1080p monitor and my Tv and I am going to use it for YouTube and browsing.
