Greetings clever people of LinusTechTips!

I've been looking for a portable device I can bring to work for breaks and off-time. I want to be able to watch Youtube, Twitch, and so, but at the same time be able to play simple games like Hearthstone on it at work. I don't want it to be a normal laptop as I want to sit in a chair and play/use it with touchscreen like a tablet, but normal tablets aren't powerful enough? I have seen things that seemed like a combination of a laptop and a tablet, where you could take the screen off and take it with you to use like a tablet, would those be usable? If possible I would also love to be able to use the device as a Minecraft server when I am at home since my normal computer has some issues with running both server and game at the same time.

Sorry it's all a bit complicated to explain but I hope I made sense as to what kind of device I'm looking for.

Hope you can help me, my budget is 700 dollars maximum. Looking forward to your responses :)

I am personally not a fan of tablets with a detachable keyboard. I find they are unstable for laptop use when you need to use it on your lap or bed etc.

The best would be to look for a 2-in-1 laptop, but those are typically over $700. Take a look at the HP Spectre X360 - it is fairly new but I believe there is a core i5 version available for around 800. Regardless, you will need a dual core i3 at the minimum - avoid Core M and atom-based devices!
