Which one should get?

I am looking for a bycicle and my budget is around $300. Right now I'm looking at the Diamondback Axis XE 27.5. I want to get into MTB and I want to get it just to bike around on the roads. Is that the best option for $300 or is there anything else I should be looking at. Please answer soon because the sale on the Diamondback ends tomorrow.
