Why does CSGO Lag?

So I play CSGO on my Laptop and when I play casual or death match I get good FPS, but later on it starts like lagging and when I move the mouse around it is very laggy.

Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

Overheating, Mouse input lag, frame drops, any number of things. Need a bit more info to answer... what FPS do you get on average?

I don't really know how much FPS I get but It is pretty good and I think it's because of overheating

You need to give more info for anyone to really be able to help you.

Word of advice though, you can enable developer console in the settings menu, press the tilde key to open console (~), and then type "net_graph 1" in order to display information about your network and hardware performance. "net_graph 0" will obviously re-hide the panel.

Turn down settings, upgrade PC. But I have to ask. What kind of PC are you using that is only getting 20 fps?

When I'm playing now I get 30 pretty good but later on it's so slow. I'm using a laptop
