no problem with gpu but there are better ones like asus gtx 970 and gigabyte g1 gaming

The PC will be used for some gaming, CAD, etc.A high performance build such as this one will suffice.

Get only 1 stick of 8 gigabyte RAM and get a watercooling system for overclocking.

Dual channel is much better and faster then just on single stick of ram

No.... There is minimal performance boost over dual channel and single channel while gaming.

In some programms single channel is faster. But in most programms dual channel is faster. So go for a dual channel

I have that exact same build except the CPU, HDD, case and monitors. I got the i5 4690K for CPU just because I just game, I don't stream or any video editing.
