HOW TO OC?

I want to overclock my nvidia gigabyte 970 g1 gaming...but how i already have got MSI afterburner and Valley benchmark

Set power to 112%, up gpu clock to 1400, test it, if it works go up by 10, if doesn't go down by 20 till its stable. I wait till the card reaches 60c before i start Valley benchmark. Then do memory. Look for artifacts and green squares.

Also valley doesn't say the correct gpu core speed, afterburner will though.

Afterburner: Slide the power target to 121% (ONCE)

                    Pull the core frequency up by 25 mhz

 

Valley: Run benchmark

     Pass: Rinse and repeat

     Fail: Subtract 25 mhz and fix it there.

 

Then same for the memory:

    Afterburner: Memory speed + 25

    Valley : Benchmark it

             Pass: Repeat memory process

             Fail: Subtract 25 and apply changes.
