If I was planning on doing a moderate overlock on a new system build with an i7 4770k and looking to get it to around 4.5ghz... Would there be much of a difference between going with a Hero over the Formula?

I plan on putting together my new PC build in the next week or two and am trying to decide on which parts I am going to go with.  So far I have decided on the following...

i7 4770k

G.Skill Trident X Series 16gb

Fractal Design Define R4 Window version (with 5 NF F12 120mm fans)

1000w OCZ ZX Series PSU (Currently using)

240gb GB Intel SSD (Currently using)

1 TB WD HHD (Currently using)

There are 3 things left I need to decide on before getting the rest of the parts together, the main one being... Do I go for the Hero now, or wait for the Formula?  What are some of your opinions on it?

Edit:  In case you guys were wondering what the other 2 things are that I havent made a decision about yet they are the following

1)  H220 vs NH D14 for CPU cooler

2) GTX 780 non-reference vs waiting until the AMD cards come out later this year. (Pretty sure I will wait until AMD comes out)

for the cooler get the h220 and then get the formula. h220 can be customized and add extra tubing to cool the formula.

I doubt Id do any kind of custom killing or additions to the AIO cooler.  This will be my first time ever building a PC from the group up, and the first ever doing anything with water cooling.  Ive always been afraid to even think about water cooling, but since all of these all in one closed loop coolers have been everywhere lately, I figured Id consider it since it seems like they are just as easy, if not easier to install then some of the after market heat sinks.

I wouldnt even know where to begin in customizing the H220 or adding tubing to it to connect to the formula etc. lol, the idea of that just makes me nervous already lol.

Yeah I still dont think thats something I would feel confident doing haha.  I think maybe I will just go with the NH D14 if its only going to be a couple degrees warmer then the H220.

Another question I had about Asus ROG Hero though, or I guess just mobos in general... How / where do I add more case fans if the mobo has only a few chassis connectors?  For example in my situation assuming I get a Asus ROG Hero with an R4, then that would be 5 case fans (2 front, 2 top, 1 rear), plus the 120mm and 140mm on the NH D14 cpu heatsink.  So a total of 7 fans that I need to plug in, but when looking at the Asus ROG Hero specs, this is all that is listed for the fan connections that I can say ...

1 x CPU Fan connector(s)
1 x CPU OPT Fan connector(s)
3 x Chassis Fan connector(s)

I am guessing what I would do is plug in the 140mm and 120mm fans from my NH D14 heatsink, into to the CPU Fan and CPU Opt fan connectors.  And then I have 3 chassis fan, 1 will obviously be the rear fan, and most likely my last 2 would be the 2 front intake fans.  But, is there no way for me to add the 2 top exhaust fans also?  If so ... where would I plug them in at?
