I'm not interested in a smart watch, but ever since the sixth generation iPod nano, I've liked the idea of a changeable face.  Nano's of that generation are a few years old now. I'm not convinced I'd have good luck with the battery at this point in their age.

The Apple Watch has re-kindled my interest in one.

Are there any sorta-smart watches out there?

I thought a smart watch was just a waste of money then I bought a LG G watch R and it is worth it in my opinion mainly because it's stealth that allows me to use my phone without anyone knowing because it looks like a normal watch at a glance witch is great for using it in a professional environment like work or school.

Does not having a second parenthesis around something bother anyone else as much as it does me? (Like if this statement was missing a second side)

Oh man I know. The designs of some of the bands out there are really cool.  It might take a lot of searching (and possibly some trust and luck) to find a Nano that has a battery that's still worth using.

Yeah, another thing you could do is get a small portable battery bank. Then you would be able to charge it periodically during the day, in case the battery is really terrible. However battery life on Ipod's actually withstand quite a bit. I have a ipod nano 5th gen that still lasts me all day. and an ipod touch 3rd generation that lasts me almost as long.

So you're not looking to pair it with a phone... So you just want a watch? I'm confused.

If you're looking at regular watches, Arvo has some nice designs. Pricey, but nice.

A watch or some other device (like an iPod nano) that has an LCD so that the faces can be changed. I've still been looking on the web; I'm thinking that the nano is the closest thing that exists.
