My friends h100i problem!

My friend turned off his computer and went out. When he got home to turn on his computer this popped up.

The pump for the corsair h100i turned red aswell...

We checked all the cables and they are all connected.
He said he was able to check temps which are 80+ C

It sounds like the pump failed.

What should he do?

If he is within the factory warranty, RMA the cooler. If not, get something new?
