Hi!

So I have just built a computer for my grandpa, and I have been building computers for a long time. But I built it with a Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H Mobo and a A10 7850k. The stock speed of the 7850k is 3.7 ghz. The motherboard officially supports overclocking. At full load the cpu only hits 2 Ghz. Full load! And I'm using a hyper 212 evo so my temperatures are low. So being experienced in computer hardware, I go into the bios, and since the board supports overclocking, and the processor is unlocked, I tried to change the processor to its stock speed. I cant even open the context menu to change the multiplier, voltage, or FSB/HyperTransport Clock. I flashed the bios with the newest version, and I still cant do anything. I am definately not giving my grandpa a machine that barely pulls half its rating. What should I do? Do I need to RMA the board or processor?

Specs: A10-7850k , 8Gb (2x4 gb) G.Skill Ripjaws 1866mhz ddr3 running at their XMP profile , Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H motherboard, EVGA supernova 500 watt PSU, seagate barracuda 1tb hdd, some random sata ODD, A Hyper 212 EVO, and though it doesnt matter, a cooler master N200 case.

Thanks,

Sam
