Galaxy s4: multiple message previews

I recently switched over from an iphone 4s to the galaxy s4 and one of the settings I have been trying to figure out is how to display multiple message previews in the lock screen.

Basically, on the iphone, if I receive more than one text message, the most recent ones would build a stack and I would be able to read them by simply pressing the power button (and not be required to unlock).

Currently, on my s4, it will show the preview for one message, and if more than one is received it simply says I have x messages with no preview.

 

Is there a way to fix that?
