Hey, I'm not sure whether this is even the right place, but I have a bit of a problem with my DVD drive in Windows.

Windows only detects empty discs, self-burnt discs or game discs (the only reason I really have a optical drive in the first place).

I just put an emtpy disc in the drive, no problem, Windbows says "What do you want to do?".

I pop my GTA IV, Bioshock 2 or any other disc in there. No reaction.

I go to "My computer" and click on the drive. "Please insert a disc" and the drive opens, clearly showing the disc inside.

Surprisingly, the drive works fine to boot from and linux doesn't seem to have a problem with it either.

Please help me, I need me Bioshock!
