strange higher than normal gpu temps gone

wel yeah so it cooled down back to normal temp after overclocking which is what i did when i had 2 monitors as a fix for constent high clock usage when just idle so  i have decided to overclock 4 weeks after ditching duel monitors and the temps have returned to normal so any one know why its doing this

This could have just been a thermal paste thing or there was a chunk of dust stuck somewhere in the fins witch has now been moved
