ok, so right now my system is sitting in an NZXT Tempest 410 Elite (windowed) but my system seems to be getting toasty, even with all my fans maxed out, i have two cougar vortex 120mm at 12V in the front, an Arctic Cooling F12 120mm in the rear, and two Noctua NF-F12's in the roof pulling through my H100. what im looking for is something visually appealing, that has good airflow, and will support my H100 and maybe room to do a custom loop in the future.  im looking at the Vengeance C70, 650D, Define R4, Define XL R2, Arc Midi R2, Ghost, Shinobi XL, 600T, Phantom 410/630/820, Colossus, and H630. i know its a lot of cases, but i like them all.

My System

CPU - 3570K@4.4Ghz | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100 in pull | Motherboard - ASUS P8Z77-V PRO | RAM - G.Skill RipJawX Blue 8GB 2133Mhz | GPU - Gigabyte Windforce X3 HD7970 | SSD - Patriot Pyro SE 120GB | HDD Seagate Barracuda 3TB | PSU - Corsair TX850V2 | Case - Bitfenix Shinobi XL

I'd tell u to go check C70, but that's because I use it :D

and I just installed a custom loop, will post pic soon, go check it out see if that'll help you decide :)

im looking at the white one, then replacing the acrylic panel with a solid one so it doesn't look so stupid with the fan mounts

yea I got the black/gun metal one, I already changed the side window, and surprisingly my gpus drop about 2'C because there are no air pocket caused by the window anymore xD

Check out the build: Used to be Obot, now Lilith

If you want it to be silent go for the fractal ones if you like your NZXT I recommend the Phantom 820 plenty of space in the phantom obviously not as much as an 800d/900d but still a lot.

i just built a 3770K GTX 680 build in the R4 for a family member, damn that case is heavy, but im leaning towards the big brother right now

well, i may leave it, my windforce X3 7970 would blow out right there, so it might work as a passive airflow spot

I just use the front fans to blow all the air to the back of the case, which kinda works like a nice heater lately haha :p

I like the C70 because it has great airflow and I like having side mounts but wish it only had one side mount because the mount on the top would be useless unless you have an air cooler.

honestly, you will not notice much improvement in temperatures either in CPU or

internal temperatures just by switching cases. the 410 is not that old school and

is pretty straight-forward on flow, etc.. to get better increase intake flow with more

fans or more powerful fans at the risk of a louder air-noise. pretty much all the cases

listed are 2-fans in three fans out just like you already have, but with maybe larger

fans (140) being used.

have you tried turn the rear fan to intake? is the case out in the open or enclosed or

not able to get good-enough flow to begin with?

um, some of the full towers have 360 support in the roof, but yes, its sitting on my floor right now, it just my GPU seems to be idling 10C+ above any closed chassis chart ive seen, also this case can be a pain sometimes, so im looking for something that will accommodate future upgrades like a full loop, but my NF-F12's are pulling into the case, the rear is exhaust, and the front are intake with a passive fan mount in the bottom

yeah, well i had an FX-6100 with an ASUS M5A99X, and the heatsinks on the motherboard were burning hot, so i was able to use it as a leg/foot heater, but since i went intel i don't have the problem so much

.... but my NF-F12's are pulling into the case, the rear is exhaust, and the front are intake with a passive fan mount in the bottom

so you have 4 fans in and one fan out? try using the F12s as exhaust and rear intake. you really have

too much positive pressure making stagnate air-flow inside the case. so the devices just sit and stew

on heated air, instead of moving air through the case.

a case with 360 radiator support doesn't mean a better air-flow case. the corsair 800D is a horrible air

flow case. one intake fan (three helper fans internally), monster case volume and four exhaust fans (that

are 24" from the single intake fan.

it is all in regulation.. eating 4 chocolate pies and crapping 3 pies makes you positively larger. eating

4 chocolate pies and crapping 5 pies will make you smaller (negatively). eating the same amount of pies

and discharging the same makes is neutral. the same control should be achieved for air-flow in your

computer case.

Don't think I can flex the tubes over the gpu on my AIO cooler.

The tubes are on the bottom. "Accidentally" mounted it sideways so the tube holes goes from the right and to the radiator in the back. Could possibly face the tubes upwards but that might stress the pump.

I agree with airdeanos statement on the efficiency of  the air to the temperature being out put by your build  and interested in the efficiency of your shinobi xl

well, my gpu dropped 5C on idle, and my cpu did the same, but i was also able to stick another set of fans on my rad for push pull out the top, i added my spare cougar vortexs, they all run at 100%, and it idles at 35C vs 41+
