Should I upgrade my CPU

Right now I have an intel i5 4670k should I upgrade to an intel i7 4790k

Right now I don't have the money to pay for the i7 4790k but should have it in the next month or so should I go for it or get a diffrent one.

 

CPU is going passed 90% usage when playing games

Not unless you are doing some heavy work related stuff.

Well it depends, like faceman said before me you dont need it unless youre going to do heavy work stuff. On the other hand if you really want to, to stay ontop of todays tech go right ahead! But personally, i think the i5 works great! Personally i would either spend the extra money or save it up for another upgrade! Thats kind of what i do, but in the end, up to you!

what games are you playing? are you recording video while playing for YT or streaming? the only logical reason for upgrading the cpu that i can actually think of is if you need the hyper threading

I want to stream but the cpu maxes out when i open obs
