1) Is the Display Port and Mini Display Port the same quality but just different sizes?

2) Between DVI and HDMI, what should I choose?

3) How are the two different DVI ports different?

 

Edit: 4) When articles say that these connections are able to go up to 60Hz, does that mean it's limited to 60Hz?

3 more pins (more speed, one does 60hz one can do 144 for example) / one carries analog signal one doesn't (for example you need analog for an VGA adapter)

usually yes.

The only ones that can do over 60hz are DP and Dual Link DVI.

That also depends on your monitor though.
