I have a Windows 7 64 bit client that remotes into a Windows Server 2008 R2 virtual machine that is in terminal mode (remote desktop services). All the companies applications are located on this machine. However, I'd like to be able to use some of the applications from the VM on my local desktop. Is there any way to send a shortcut from the VM to my local desktop and have it still work?

For reference, I am connected to the companies domain.

This is just a matter of convenience because the RDP protocol still has some latency and its difficult when I'm dealing with large 100+ page PDF's and I need to edit something. Would be so much faster on my local machine.

Thanks in advance! :)
