choosing an optical drive

picking up a few new things for my pc. need help picking an opical drive because im clueless about them. i need something that something that can read blu rays, dvds and cds.

 

ive been looking at these 2 but dont know what they can do really.

Combo means it can only read Blu-Ray

 

the other can Write Blu-Rays

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
