I bought GTA V the other day on PC, and I am constantly getting the blue screen of death after a few minutes of playing it. Once I restart my PC, a message comes up saying that my processor reached a high temperature. I checked my CPU temp shortly afterwards. My idle CPU temp is around 50°C, but once I get into an online game of GTA, it reaches up to around 100°C on all four of the cores on my i5 3570k. My thinking is that my CPU is reaching its TJ max, causing it to shut down windows. Does anyone have any ways that I can reduce my CPU temp? I've been told to get CPU paste and a new CPU fan, could anyone suggest any specific products? Also, feel free to suggest any other ways of fixing this BSoD issue if you don't believe that it is caused by my CPU.

Do you have it overclocked?:

Is the cpu cooler mounted correctly?

Get some thermal paste something like arctic cooling mx-4

and if it comes to that, get a a cheap air cooler, something like cooler master 212 evo
