I've had a problem for a while and I don't what it could be, any chance of some help, it'd be greatly appreciated?

Whenever I play a YouTube video at over 480p and in full screen my computer tends to crash.

It's happened a couple of times on other sites but mainly YouTube.

In the time that the issue has occured I've...

Re-installed Windows 7

Installed Windows 8

Updated graphics drivers

Updated Chrome

Changed audio drivers

Changed monitor

Uninstalled Chrome extensions

I've ran out of idea's short of changing my RAM/Graphics Card. I don't want to be stuck with using IE for YouTube :(

Most Chrome-youtube problems are cause by chrome's internal Flashplayer (PepperFlash)

It conflicts with a seperately installed flash instance.

Try disabling one of both by entering 'about: plugins' in your address bar (Remove the space inbetween, vbulletin went all smiley on me)

Look at Flash player, if it shows '2 files' you might want to click details in your upper right-hand corner

then, under flash player disable one of both, preferably pepperflash (In some random chrome folder)

but you also may try the other one.

Last resort, remove Flash player from your computer. and just use Chrome's only

Just disable flash. don't remove it because if you remove it you won't be able to use any flash stuff later. Then it will just use HTML5. I believe canary build uses HTML5 as default anyway. however carany build is the least stable build.
