I have two users who are having time issues on the domain I help manage. Their computers continously reset their time several times a day.

The domain server and other computers (Also on the domain) don't have any issues with time and we also forced a resync on both computers. Both computers still show that they are still using the domain as their NTP. I've also noticed that the multimedia class scheduler service is repeatly starting and restarting but that maybe due to the time issue itself.

We've updated the BIOS, Reset the BIOS to default, and have also reseated the coin cell. Next step might be a coin cell replacement but I was hoping for some possible suggestions.

EDIT:

*Forgot to add that we've restarted the Windows Time service on the computers and domain server. Might of forgot other things too.

First computer is a Dell Precision T3600 (Mid 2013) - Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit

Second computer is a Dell Optiplex 980 (Late 2010) - Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit

Thanks.

What's the NTP of the domain controller?  I had an issue recently with the timings on the workstations in the office being off by about 5 minutes.  I changed the NTP on the DC and resync'd the clients and all was well.

The issue can also be caused if the client is looking at the CMOS for time and the battery is on the blink.  Make sure the server is also not using the CMOS for time settings.
