HDD Data loss - please help!!

Hey, my windows went full retard, so I had to format the drive, I formatted both of of my drives by a mistake, I had all of my data on one disk and I have not used this disk for the new install of windows, is there any way to recover the data on that disk? I have some important school documents needed for the upcoming exams please help me out :-)!!

did you a quick format? If so you might be able to get some stuff back with some recovery software there is loads out there. Here is a list of software from CNET.

Essitially what you want to do is try to rebuild the partition. I assume you did a normal format and thus the hdd was not reset to "0's" therefore all the information should still be there since you didn't write over it.
