Hi

 

After the recent patch for COD AW my game seems to be completely broken ,the game still runs fine but I am getting insane frame drops from what I used to have.

 

Usually I would get 90 fps on every map (I know there is a fps cap of 90) and I would have all my settings on high and the game for me was almost perfect in performance and appearance but now after the update my game constantly drops to 40 and 50 fps,I have a 144hz gaming monitor so dropping from 90 to 40 really makes a difference in the gameplay.Not all the maps are like this but maps like Biolab drop to 40 and then suddenly Comeback is at 90 ,but most of the maps run below 60 fps.I have tried running the game at the lowest settings and resolution and everything on max and there is not a difference in fps at all.

 

Am I the only one that has these problems?Does anyone know how to fix it or is it just a bad patch and I should just hope they release a new one fixing these problems?

If there is an option in the game, make sure it knows your refresh rate is 144hz, also check if v-sync is on, that might be dropping you down as well. Other than that I don't know.
