Hi there,

My PC recently started playing up for some reason. It would BSOD every now and then but now it happens every single time I try to boot it up. It is a different STOP message every single time but the first one I got today was "0x0000001E" with no other information about drivers etc. At present I have the hard drive, graphics card and all other peripherals apart from a mouse and keyboard disconnected and I am trying to boot on to the Windows 7 Install disk (64-bit) but even that is resulting in a BSOD. I have tried booting in to safe mode to see if it is a driver problem but it freezes during the loading process. Prior to this the system was running absolutely fine and stable and I haven't made any changes to it in terms of hardware since that point.

Can anyone help me try and resolve this issue? It would be greatly appreciated!

System Specs are:

  • MSI Z97 MPower
  • Intel i5 4690K
  • 8GB Single Channel Transcend RAM
  • Corsair RM850 PSU
  • Corsair H80I GT Cooler
  • 1TB HDD (currently disconnected and unsure of brand)(windows 7 home premium 64-bit installed)
  • Radeon HD 7770 GHz edition (currently removed)

*Edit* I have removed the ram and put it in to an old system and managed to boot to the Windows Install disk successfully*

Many Thanks,

Darren
