Short and sweet because of accidental backspace(thanks for that awesome "feature", Google...) out of my wall of text.

This is probably a silly question, but I've seen some pretty high CFM 120MM out there, although at a higher price point than some of the 230MM.

So, I personally assume 230MM is better airflow in general, bigger blow radius or something. Case compatibility isn't a problem, I have tools and can "make it work", or get a new case at some point($30 case currently, get what you pay for).

230MM vs 120MM? Case isn't a problem, and noise isn't much of a problem. Especially since I'm running a 2600k at 4.6, I can handle the noise to that extent.

230mm's move a lot of air but tend to have terrible static pressure. Which to use will generally come down to where the fan is being used.

Oh, I see. The 230MM I was looking at is this one:

For 120MM fans, probably two that equal about the same price, or one good one, like a Noctua of some sort.

120MM would probably be in the front or on the side panel. 230MM would definitely be on the side panel blow directly on the board, with a 120 in the front blowing out. The CPU fan is facing up, towards the fan slot and blowing out air that way. PSU is bottom mounted on this case, and any other cases I'm looking at.

It would help to list your specs.
