Printer issues unable to print over network

Heres my problem: i got a couple HP LaserJet P2055DN printers from work and i'm attempting to set them up so that you can use them over the network (got one conneted directly to my router for example)

 

it worked to print to them over network when connected directly to my laptop, but when i tried having it connected to my Router and setting it up that way, i couldnt print

 

i also realised the printer wasnt even showing up as a device on my routers connections screen

 

the Router i use has an odd IP, though... it is 10.0.0.x so i'm thinking that might be the problem as according to the nettwork summary i printer out on the printer its requesting the ip 192.168.149.31

EDIT: My sister was somehow able to use the printer without installing any drivers from her Mac... i cant for some reason on two seperate computers get it to work
