Cheapo DSLR?

AJR

I'm only fourteen, so my budget is tight. I wouldn't like to spend more than $200-$300 bucks. The lower, the better. I'm looking for a DSLR for photography as a hobby, and maybe a photography class in high school. I'd also like for it to come with everything I need. I've been looking at Canon for a brand, but any other known brand would be fine.

Last summer I found a Canon Rebel XTI on craigslist for 100 bucks, it didn't come with any additional stuff though. But if you're beginning into cameras and don't want to spend a lot, you can shop around for used ones as a start up. Great way to learn without putting a hole in your pocket.

Its not quite a DSLR, but I picked up a Samsung NX200 on ebay for around £100. I believe they are classed as MILC's (Mirror-less Interchangeable Lens Cameras). Hence the name, you can switch the lens's out and you can get mounts for proper DSLR ones too.

May you have many mahogany doors. | http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/GsxYcf

Sony Alpha A3000

Sony NEX series (the highest you can afford)

Older Nikon D's. Anything under $300 is fair game right? Do you care if it's used? Do you need the lens kit or just the body?

With this, can I just start using it out of box or will I need to purchase lenses, and a micro SD?

Well you will sooner or later need to buy more lens xD. Since you are in the US I recommend you look into the used camera sections
