Best Wireless Channel?

Whats the best Wi-Fi channel 1 through 7 if there are no other wireless (No Wi-Fi, theres bluetooth and such) signals around me?

you have to try it yourself it varies location to location I have found 9 to be unoccupied most of the time

5ghz ;)

at 2.4ghz its all pretty much the same

Neither of you listened, I need channels not frequency and there are no other wireless signals to occupy channels. Also the only other thing that should interfere is a cordless handset.

You will have to try it out yourselves. We would know if your neighbor or whoever are using what channel. I think there is a program / equipment to check but that will cost extra money (Not sure how much thou). So just try out the different channel and sees which is the best for your location.
