Random Crashes

For a while now my computer, for some strange reason, will randomly restart itself. When it restarts it is a harsh restart where it powers down instantaneously and then boots up like normal. The majority of the time it occurs when the PC is at idle or under light load. It has only done this while gaming maybe 3 times. What usually seems to cause it recently is when i click on certain web links. The odd thing about them is that those same links will work fine the following day and others will cause it. The rest of the time it will just restart randomly without any user input.

 

I was wondering if anyone else has been through this or has any suggestions as to how to fix it? I am stumped as to whether or not it is hardware or software based. I have re installed the OS less than a week ago and the problem still persists. I have tried most of the solutions on the web for similar problems to no avail. I love my PC and would like to be able to make it more stable.

dont think this will help, but it worked for me

try to push the PSU cable in all the way, mine was like half in, and that made it restart when the floor vibrated sometimes
