Cl11 to Cl9

Hey Guys.

I was wondering what is going to happen if I Change My cl11 ram with a cl9 one (the cl11 is going to be used on a new machine so I am able to buy a cl9 one).

Will I have to format or something or It Will Fuction properly from the time I buckle it?
