I'm planning on getting either a single ultrawide 3440x1440p monitor or an ROG Swift with a 1080p monitor, but I'm stuck in between, right now.  The idea of both of the options is increased productivity, but I'll be gaming quite a bit, too.  I want the ability to have multiple windows and/or applications open at once and seamlessly transition between the two.  The hardware to drive the monitors are powerful enough, no worries in that department.  Advice?

The monitors in question:

Ultrawide: LG 34UC97-S

1440p (To be paired with 1080p): ASUS PG278Q ROG Swift

1080p (To be paired with 1440p): Asus VX VX248H

Thanks!

I saw the 34UC97 yesterday cause I'm wanting to buy a monitor and it's great. I've heard sad things about backlight bleed on the LG though (Which makes me sad).

The Swift is TN, so maybe you are okay with that but there is also a 1440p 144Hz IPS from Acer that might be worth a look.
