Our old Netgear DGN2000 was serving us well for half a decade until finally a couple days ago it died. Because of this, we temporarly switched to the ISP provided modem/router/access point which is pretty crappy. It is working fine for now, but my Chromebook won't pick up it's wifi, even when I moved it to right next to the access point. It picks up all the neighbours' ones and everything. So I had to get out an old netbook, connect it through Ethernet and use that as the access point which of course is no ideal solution. So can you help me resolve this issue, and also recommend a new ADSL 2+ modem/router/access point? Location is Australia.
