Is it formatted? If not, right-click on the empty, unallocated space and create a new simple volume. Format in NTFS for Windows

 

If that isn't the case, make sure that the motherboard is treating it like an IDE drive, get the latest drivers, etc. If worse comes to worse, contact Crucial
