So I'm looking at getting a new monitor and have found a nice BenQ one I like.

It's 144hz and would be great for the games I play.

My only question is would my card support this?

I'm currently running a AMD 7870 XFX Ghost Edition.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think thte 7870 ghz would be able to live like it did in it's prime. You could play med/low settings, (maybe high on some games) and get 144 fps or you could play at maxed and live with 30 - 60 fps

The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time.

The card will support the monitor using DP and Dual link dvi, not sure if that card has the HDMI version for 120hz though. As Jade said it will depend on games if you will utilize the 120hz so just use fraps check your fps in the games u wanna play and if it's over 120fps  you will if under 120 than it won't.
