i have a h440 that i am not satisfied with how quiet the stock fans is, the stock fans is basicly the fn v2 120/140 but with plastic/solid corners insted of rubber isolator, i use the fan controll software buildt in to my msi z97 g45 which the minimum speed is 50% for sysfans and 12.5% for cpu fans. i know about fore options, which is best? (if you know about more options please tell me)

1. Buy better fans (which?)

2. Buy a fan controller like the grid+

3. Buy and use rummer gromits instead of screws

4. Buy low speed adaptors

Specs:

4690k overclocked to 4ghz

CM TX3 evo with noctua 92mm redux

msi gtx970 gaming

msi z97 g45 mobo

stock fans

nzxt h440

Corsair RM650 PSU

Thanks

i have seen on the corsair and nuctua, and are the corsair quieter then the stock fan, becaus on the specs the fn v2 fans have a lower desibel then the corsair, does the lack of rubber grommit make that much of a diffrense or is the fn v2 loader?

Honestly I'm not to sure about that but I do know the corsair fans have better airflow and build quality. The reason why there is rubber grommets is to stop vibrations from rattling the case so they could make a difference.

i have been thinking presure optimised aka. nf-f12 for the front and maybe a af 140 for rear exaust since i have a pretty clean build and i dont want to ruin it with a puke browne fan for the rear exaust

but can somebody with a af140 and stock h440 fan say what differense it is between those two?
