Hello,

I'm looking to buy a PC for gaming and I'm planning on getting a AMD FX-6300 with a ZOTAC GTX 960  AMP! 2gb

What I'm wanting to know is,

1. Will i have any problems with this bottlenecking?

2. I've also heard that AMD cpus tend to overheat alot is this true?

I live in Brazil and I'm looking to buy a Pre-Built desktop since Buying the parts from many places makes me pay shipping and the shipping isn't cheap (same for the parts)

My price range is 2,500-3,000 BRL

1.00 USD = 3.19 BRL

Note: I don't understand much about computers and I'd also like to be running games on High+

Rest of specs :

MOBO :  GigaByte 78LMT-USB3

RAM    : Kingston HyperX Fury 1600MHz 8gb

HDD    :  1TB

PSU    :  Cougar 500W

Case    : Bitfenix Prodigy M White

                                                                                                                   Thank you for your help!

Bottlenecking shouldn't be a problem here. Also, AMD CPUs don't tend to overheat, but they do run hotter than Intel CPUs. For more expensive builds, I always recommend Intel, but for builds under 700$ or so I recommend AMD

I would like to know the other specs, and if you don't mind the budget. we may be able to put together something higher end in the same price range.

System CPU : Ryzen 9 5950 doing whatever PBO lets it. Motherboard : Asus B550 Wifi II RAM 80GB 3600 CL 18 2x 32GB 2x 8GB GPUs Vega 56 & Tesla M40 Corsair 4000D Storage: many and varied small (512GB-1TB) SSD + 5TB WD Green PSU 1000W EVGA GOLD

You can trust me, I'm from the Internet.

By the way, you will be able to run games at high settings, but for more demanding games you'll have to turn them down a bit.

Do you know the 80+ certification of that PSU?  I would trust a PSU unless it is at least 80+ certified (Preferably bronze as well).

i5 4670k (can OC to 4.4Ghz) - Hyper 212 evo w/ AC MX2 - XFX Radeon R9 280X8GB ADATA XPG V2 DDR3-1600 - MSI Z87 G41 - Corsair CX600M 600W PSU - 1TB HDD - 120GB SSD

Cougar generally make good PSU's; They might not be a top shelf producer but they are not some fly by night operator.

What is the situation for your parts. Are you importing or are there some local shops your using?

Online store from Brazil. If i were to buy from amazon or any other site outside of Brazil the tax rates would be outrageous

Yes its 80+ for the certification

do you mind linking the store (as well as others your willing to use) some of us may poke around too see if there is anything better in that range that you might not have thought of.

I had my FX6300 for about 2 years and heat will not be a problem (it's a 95W chip not the 125W pumped out by the higher clocked FX chips).

If you are considering overclocking it then you will need a good quality heatsink/fan or all in one water cooler but tbh I didn't see much improvement even after upping my clock from 3.5Ghz to 4.2Ghz.

I don't plan on overclocking.

I think http://www.pichau.com.br/computadores/computador-pichau-gamer-tunder-i5-4460-r9-280-3gb-h81m-8gb-hd-500gb-600w-cougar-archon-boxthis is a better build in that price range as far as the prebuilds go; because of the R9 280 being a stronger video card and the intel being a generally better cpu especially if your not overclocking.

Ill start looking through their parts catalog and see what the price difference would be if you built something similar yourself. (If your willing to build it yourself)

System CPU : Ryzen 9 5950 doing whatever PBO lets it. Motherboard : Asus B550 Wifi II RAM 80GB 3600 CL 18 2x 32GB 2x 8GB GPUs Vega 56 & Tesla M40 Corsair 4000D Storage: many and varied small (512GB-1TB) SSD + 5TB WD Green PSU 1000W EVGA GOLD

I would be willing to built it myself, I'd just end up using a ton of guides

Just went through the part pricing on the site. it does not make sense to build your own if your on a budget. There are a couple of pre-builts in your price range that I would recommend over the one you chose in your price range if your paying all at once and not in installments.

there is one nearly identical to the one you chose with a 970 which is a large gpu upgrade. (not a fan of the CPU/MB combo they used but it works) this one is at the high end of your budget

http://www.pichau.com.br/computadores/pichau-rtb-fx-6300-gtx-970-78l-usb3-8gb-1tb-500w-prodigy-m-white-box

This one has the generally better all around intel cpu and equivilent gpu to the one you chose but comes in a different case with a higher quality motherboard.

This one has the intel cpu and an amd card that is a bit stronger than the 960 available in the one you chose, also comes in a different case.

Also from the other site, This build uses a much higher end motherboard compared to the other AMD systems Might not be the best of the bunch price/performance wise but it should defiantly be another contender for your consideration. Edit: also looks like it comes with some AMD swag :D
