Laptop buying help

Hey,

I'm looking for a new laptop for gaming, browsing, writing programs, and media editing. I'd like to be able to upgrade parts whenever I like. I've got $1200 to spend. Help me out here, please.

This doesn't go together.

 

What exactly is your desire to upgrade? Processor? GPU? Or RAM/HDD only?

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
