So I recently built my computer around two weeks ago, everything has been working fine since. I recently noticed that my RAM usage is just not adding up to what it should be. It will be around 70% used, but when I check what is running, it only adds up to around 15% which doesn't quite make sense. Not sure if this is natural, or something I should look into more. Here are my PC specs as well.

Is RAPID activated in the Samsung Magician software? If so then it's normal, it reserves RAM for caching.

Why on Eath is Skype using 1.6GB? It's probably a glitch, restart Skype.

Where did you get 1.6GB from?

Sorry, I thought he had 16GB. It's just 8GB, so it's 920MB. Either way: way too much memory. Skype at idle should use 60-80mb, and in video call it uses about 200mb.

using 150 for me so yes too much

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.
