$2700 Gaming/Rendering/Recording Multi-purpose PC

I have made two different build for a Gaming/Rendering/Recording PC, and I want to know which build would be better overall, one's more suited for rendering and ones more suited for gaming. I'm open to suggestions, tweaks, tips, and just good information about the parts I've chosen.

The "gaming" oriented is the best allround. But if you are going to get dual monitors get two with the same size and resulution, looks waay better.

The i7 4790K is  more then enough to record gameplay, and with the 980 you can use shadowplay. It should probably not even be a problem streaming

I was gunna get two monitors and rotate one so it's in a different viewing mode, and have it as a vertical monitor next to my main monitor.

Ah, why would you want to do that? But sure it could work then.

Unless you're programming, there isn't really a point to portrait mode on monitors.
