So i can overclock the gtx 970 fine, i can get 200 on the core and 400 on the memory without even touching the voltages. but as soon as i try to go over that no matter how much i up the voltage it becomes unstable, and sometimes crashes. Ive almost got it up to 250 on the core clock (1503 mhz) with +20 on the core voltage but its not incredibly stable there and it makes me nervous to keep it at that.

So should i just count my losses and stick with my 200 core and 400 mem overclock? its not like its not a huge performance increase, everything goes up by like 10 frames.

not everyone has an overclocking wonder card.

did you try putting the power limit at 125 and bump up the temp

yeah, although i think part of the issue for that is just finding the sweetspot clock speed
