Hi !

Do you think learning how to program is a truely useful thing for me, hardware, software, hi-tech and all the crap that technology has to offer, i'm quite into all that, but i feel that the missing piece of the puzzle is programming, the actual code that makes all of this possible, i have some ideas for software that could be handy for me or even others and i would like to make some, go on a voyage of discovery :Linus: and see what's possible with all this code non-sense which i hardly understand when i look at it.

I posted here to get a more "mainstream feedback", if i post this in the programming forum everyone will tell me it's awesome... i don't know, i have a few concerns about the time that i might consume in order to get the hang of it, i don't want to be stuck in a learning curve where half of the C++ stuff is still unknown for me, when i decide to learn something, i highly prefer to get around it totally, and if not possible at least i need understand most if it...

Stop bloating nonsense, and reason to contribute in a constructive manner.

It's cool to know and you can make a career out of it if you're skilled enough. But if you aren't going to be using it regularly and aren't interested in keeping it as a hobby I would assume it has little to no use what-so-ever and would be quickly forgotten.

That's just my opinion, take it for what it's worth (which isn't much :P)
