you can get the OS for cheap at /r/microsoftsoftwareswap

if i was you, i would get cheaper case (but i suppose you want it/it fits you) and 128GB SSD, that way i think it should be enough for GTX 970

It's a huge jump from 960 to 970

i5 + 970 = beast

 

but if you don't want to do that, then at least get 280x instead of 960, it's better for about same price + it has 3 gigs of vram
