So I have just received my Asus G751 back from an RMA and immediately I noticed issues. I thought they had installed the 128GB SSD instead of the 256GB SSD but then I went into the partition editor and noticed many weird things. First off, they didn't even bother to format my other Hard Drive (Currently Games) and my SSD had been split into two partitions. I was like, "Alright should be an easy fix, just delete the second partition right?" Wrong. When I right click it it does not allow me to delete the partition. I noticed it said page file so I switched the page file over to the C: Drive, but the D: Drive still says page file. It also says it is 20% full, but when I got to the D: Drive in my computer it shows up as nothing there (Even with hidden folders on).

I attached an image showing the partition thing.

Thanks,

- Daniel

I'd rather not reinstall. I'm thinking I might just shrink the partition to the smallest possible size and call it a day.

Seeing as they messed with it to that extent, are you prepared to do a re-install? If so, it shouldn't be too hard to sort that out during the installation.

**Warning*** this WILL delete it, but if the system needs it, your system might not boot.... then u will need installation media to do a repair to fix.

i would assume nothing.. its just virtual memory...lemme do a quick googler

in theory https://askleo.com/can_i_delete_pagefilesys_what_is_it/nothing

it should just make a new pagefile elsewhere

Okay so I think I know the problem. The drive is a dynamic drive and won't let me edit anything. Any way to turn it into a basic drive without losing any data?
