Hey Guys and Girls,

Its my first post so excuse me if this has been formatted wrong or posted in the wrong thread.

I'm looking to overclock my i7 2600, unfortunately it isnt K.

I would like some help on how to do so! Or to check if its even possible.

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lachlan

The most you'd be able to do is raise the base clock (BCLK) from 100 to 105 in the BIOS, that's the most stable OC I was able to achieve with my 2600 before everything else started going wrong as this affects BUS, RAM speeds etc, not really worth OC'ing it tbh, only got an extra 175MHZ out of it

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.8GHZGPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X (X2 - SLI)RAM: 24GB | Storage: 128GB 960 PRO M.2 SSD, 1TB & 750GB HDD | Operating System: Windows 10, MacOS High Sierra
