What do you programmers use to code php on a Mac

used to use phpDesigner on my windows 7 but I am now running hackintosh so needing a new php editor

 

tryed zend studio cant get one with it hate how it scans all my ftp files :(

I know that you can use Dreamweaver if you can afford it.

 

Edit: I agree with Mac (lol), TextWrangler is pretty awesome.

I use XAMPP and SublimeText for my PHP work. XAMPP is pretty straightforward but SublimeText (unlimited free trial) is way more powerful than at first glance. It has code completion, extensions, highlighting, and ALL OF THIS is editable in its respective config folder. Then again my PHP work is very small scale and I'm not sure what other tools you might need but definitely check this out. I actually use SublimeText for damn near everything (my professors didn't appreciate receiving papers in .txt format).

look in to netbeans looks good but dont know how to get ftp broswer up :S

Alternatively, you can try Eclipse. It's a very high-powered system with, again, extensions for almost everything you can think of. Personally, I find it to be just a bit too much power for my workload but it's a lot closer to NetBeans.

you can view ftp if you create a project but you have to download the whole thing :( very annoying because I all ways work from different places and all ways have worked remotely
