Wi-Fi issues

Hello everyone,as the topic states, I'm having a bit of a wireless connection issue, and a strange one at that. I have a netgear rangemax WPN824 v3 wireless router and an HTC one m8 phone. My phone cannot connect automatically when in range, I have to turn off and back on the router to get it to connect, and sometimes it will randomly disconnect and I have to restart the process. This doesn't happen with my laptop or my old iPhone, and in the next few days there will be two more HTC one m8s that will require a WiFi connection. My router is the only one I've encountered that has this issue. To the best of my knowledge the router firmware is up to date. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
