Hey guys, preparing a build in a sorta "custom" case soon (build log any day now, maybe this weekend at the latest if i'm lazy) and i need to know what's safe to use as motherboard standoffs.

I was just going to use THESE...

s-l1600.jpg

i hope i know how to do spoilers...

And i want to know if that looks good. will they work?

And as for screws on top, they just have to be the same threads, and not extend past the metal dots ringing around the hole, correct? Last thing i need right now is to fry a motherboard because a screw is too big.

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it
