I just picked up a new motherboard and processor for a computer i built awhile ago. During this process i didnt really want to format the old harddrive and install the OS again with the new hardware. So instead of doing that I purchase a 120g SSD for a boot drive. Now that ive got everything good and running i hooked the old hard drive up to the new computer. All the files show  up fine and i have all of my pictures and everything. Now My question ... Is there a way to get the icons for my games back on the desktop and load them off my old hard drive without experiencing registry errors? I know I could re install the games again and drag the saved game data over to the new hard drive but i would rather not. Is it possable to just play the game since its already on the hard drive and has been installed ( In another PC )?? Any help would be amazing at this point.
