Thinking about switching cases

I recently built a pc with a gtx 970, i7 4790k, and h100i in an NZXT H440. I already upgraded the stock fans of the h100i to some noctua nf-f12 but I'm still not happy with the airflow and the noise of the case. My idea was to either buy a fractal design define r5 and take the h100i as a front intake or buy a new back exhaust and 3 front intakes from noctua to replace the stock ones.

thanks for your help

Have you been able to pinpoint exactly which component is causing the noise?

To add to this, you can hold down the fans one by one to see which ones are spinning up and making a rucus, then go from there. The H440 doesn't have the best airflow, but it shouldn't be too noisy.

I think it's a combination of all the components and the case not blocking the noise properly or maybe just the stock case fans. Replacing all the fans would be a little less than the price of a fractal define r5.

With the setup you have now, it should be quiet. Is there a component overworking? What RPM's do you have the fans at?

Well the fans of the h100i are really quiet and running at about 600 RPM in idle going up to 1000 RPM under load but even then barely noticeable. The stock case fans of the h440 run at a stock RPM of 1400
